Situated on a natural ridge in pasture-land with good views of surrounding countryside. Ringfort (WM007-036----) 50m to NW. A sub-circular raised area (35m N-S; 38m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank, almost completely levelled at W. The interior rises towards the centre, and has slight traces of cultivation ridges. A post-1837 NE-SW field boundary intersects the monument at E.
