Located on a slight NW-SE spur in a fairly level landscape. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 65m) defined by a single fosse feature is visible SE-W-NW on aerial photographs (CUCAP: ASW 70, ASZ 39). It is not visible at ground level in pasture.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
