No one knows who built the vanished ring in Geehy South, but the fairies certainly did. They dragged it through the grass at midnight, pulled it into the bay and drowned it in salt water. The humans forgot the shape within a generation. The fairies kept it sharp in their mouths, passing the hole beneath the bay from tongue to tongue.
In level grassland, overlooking Aughinish Bay to the S. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m). No visible surface trace survives.
