Fairy fort in Gardenfield, County Limerick: a 34-metre earthen ring with a shallow outer ditch, trees along the bank, and a widened northern entrance leading to a gravelled yard. The interior remains level, dry and clear, while pasture stretches beyond the ditch. People may have lived there, herded there, or simply walked through when the land was younger; the fairies, according to local story, kept the name and perhaps the boundary.

In pasture, on slight E-facing slope. Circular area (33.5m N-S; 34.1m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.8m) with an external fosse (D 0.9m; Wth 2m). Trees grow along top of bank. Entrance (Wth 3.45m) at N has been recently widened and a causeway constructed across fosse; immediately outside entrance is gravelled yard.
