No visible entrance. The fort is a broken circle of earth on a hillock in Freahanes pasture, wide enough for a small household and tall enough to keep rain off the memory. It may have been a home, a boundary marker or a stage for stories told after dark. The missing wall does not weaken it; it invites imagination to finish the shape.

In pasture, atop hillock. Circular area (35.5m N-S; 32.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.8m) SSE->NW; low bank NW->SSE.
