Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Foxhall

In pasture, on SE-facing slope. Circular area (20m N-S; 21.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.96m). Bank incorporated into field fence to E; gaps in bank to NE and ESE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
