In undulating pasture, on a rise. A raised circular area (int. diam. 26m) enclosed by remains of two earthen banks with an intervening fosse (Wth 4m). The inner bank (Wth 2m; int. H 1.3m; ext. H 3.5m) is substantial while the outer bank (Wth 2m; int. H 1.5m; ext. H 0.75m) is low. The entrance (Wth 1.5m) is at SE with a causeway across the fosse. The SE edge has been partially quarried away and some digging has also taken place in the interior.
