Magic never entered the chamber. The chamber is a shallow circle of earth forty-eight metres wide, broken by a farm lane and a forgotten entrance at the southeast. A small pile of stones still sits inside, waiting for an explanation that time has not given. What the fort did is no longer written anywhere.

Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 48m) enclosed by a low earthen bank and a wide, shallow fosse. Bank has been levelled from ESE-SSE and a laneway skirts its external face from SSW-W. Fosse identifiable only from N-ENE. Original entrance probably at SE. A small pile of stones of unknown significance lies inside the bank at SW.
