Fairy forts and true ringforts share one shape: a round earth work set apart from ordinary fields. That is why people invented fairies to explain what the form resisted. Dromkeen East kept its circle on the early map, then vanished from the later one. The land did not lose the site; it stopped answering the question being asked.

Situated NE of KE015-029---- & KE015-012----, this circular enclosure is marked on the 1841-42 OS map. It is not marked on the 1916 edition and no visible trace survives today.
