Fairy fort in Desert, Carbery East: a roughly circular earthen ring, 40.5m by 43.5m, with a 1.8m bank and shallow outside ditch. It sits on a west-facing pasture slope, with gaps to the south and south-west where entry or exit would have been easy. People may have lived there, kept stock, or left it alone because the shape felt owned by something older.

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Roughly circular area (40.5m N-S; 43.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.8m), with shallow external fosse. Gaps in bank to S (Wth 6m) and WSW (Wth 2m).
