Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Cremartin

Located on the spine of the SE-facing slope of a low NW-SE drumlin ridge. A circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) is depicted on the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map where it is described in gothic script as a ‘fort’ and it is depicted as a small copse (diam. c. 25m) on the 1907 edition. There were slight traces of a scarp (Chord c. 21.5m; H 0.5m) at SE in 1968 as the only indication of the monument.
