Fairy forts are earthen rings built by human hands, yet local tradition still credits the fairies with shaping them. In Corraige, the ridge may have begun as a boundary marker, a trading post or a seasonal camp before becoming a landmark people pointed at and named. The ring survives because it is simple, visible and useful, while the fairy label warns that the place belongs to memory as much as to ownership.
