Fairy fort in Cloghboola More is a circular earthen ringfort with a stone-faced outer bank and a wide southeast entrance, set on an east-facing slope beside a stream valley in County Cork. People may have lived inside its double banks or kept animals in the grassy middle, while others avoided the place because fairy stories still cling to it. The small mound near the entrance and the overgrown interior suggest reuse rather than abandonment, as if the fort kept giving up room for new life.

In pasture, on E-facing slope, on W side of stream valley. Circular, slightly raised area (30m NE-SW) defined by earthen bank (max. int. H1.9m); intervening fosse (D 1.2m); second earthen bank (H 1m), stone-faced externally to N, W and S. Entrance (Wth 3.5m) to SE. Interior partially overgrown; small grass-covered mound in SE quadrant, near entrance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
