What is recorded here

Carrowfree holds a true ringfort, yet local people call it a fairy fort because the boundary seems to belong elsewhere. Earth and stone still mark the circle, waiting for someone brave enough to walk its edge at dusk. The name warns that human history and fairy story have tangled together inside the same ridge.
