Fairy fort in Ballyglass South is a circular rath forty-one and a half metres across, set on a prominent grassland rise in County Galway. Two banks and a ditch once defined its edge, though only fragments remain visible today. The inner bank survives from north to northeast, while the ditch and outer bank show from west to north. A scarp replaces the missing bank elsewhere, suggesting the circle still resists forgetting even when its walls have thinned.

The inner bank is present from N to NE; elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element. The fosse and outer bank are visible from W to N.
