What is recorded here
Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on the NW-facing slope of Ballyfermoyle Hill. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 16m E-W; 13.4m N-S), which remains unplanted in a coniferous forest, defined by a scarp down to the interior (H 0.5-0.7m) E-W, and an external scarp (H 0.6m) elsewhere. There is a field wall on the perimeter N-SE, but there is no visible entrance. Rath (RO004-035----) is c. 80m to the SE and cashel (RO004-036----) is c. 50m to the SSE.
