What is recorded here
Fairy fort in Ballycummin, County Limerick, holds a sub-circular earth bank about 60m wide inside Raheen Industrial Estate. It is no longer visible because dense scrub has swallowed the ring, yet the shape still resists the modern layout around it. The forges, roads and buildings of Raheen have closed the area to casual entry, but the hidden fort remains a living boundary marker between human ambition and older patience.
Situated in Raheen Industrial Estate. The monument, depicted on the 1924 OS 6-inch map as a sub-circular area (diam. c. 60m) enclosed by a bank, is now inacessible as it is completely masked by dense scrub vegetation.
