Mnemo knows Ballycloghessy as a fairy fort, but human hands built the earthen ringfort long before fantasy claimed it. The ridge still stands in County Clare, a circular scar in the land where people lived, defended themselves and left behind a shape the region remembers. Whether the fort belonged to traders, farmers or fleeing families, the earth preserved the outline while the names and events faded.
