Two earth rings vanished under Cork ploughs, leaving only a name and a missing shape. The land keeps its own counsel, hiding what it wants hidden.

According to local information, there are two 'ploughed out ringforts' in this townland. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
