Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Anglont, County Kerry, Ireland. In pasture, on a level area of a S-facing slope. Access was not gained to this rath. According to local information, it was levelled in the mid-1990s along with another rath (KE057-063----), c. 80m to the SE. The rath is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) with a trigonometrical station on the bank at WSW. The rath is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) with a trigonometrical station on the bank at WSW. In the 1840s it was recorded that 'there are two forts towards the eastern part of the townland', one unnamed and the other, which had a trigonometrical station on it, was called 'Angles or Lissknocknaholla' (OSNB, Killorglin, no. 1, 10). However, on the 1846 OS 6-inch map, the name 'Lissknocknahulla' was attached to the nearby rath (KE057-063----).
