Half-hidden in bushes and railway shadow, the Aghalacka ringfort keeps its circle intact: a thirty-metre marshy chamber walled by earthen banks, a narrow causeway at the northeast, and a broken outer line where the train cut through. People may have lived, herded, hidden or simply marked time there before the trees closed over the middle. The fairy name does not dismiss the shape; it admits that the place still works on memory, patience and the risk of entering what has already been half-forgotten.

In level marshy terrain, immediately S of railway line. Circular area (diam. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1.6m) with external fosse (D 0.8m; Wth 3m), and by an external bank W->NE (H 0.75m; Wth 3.4m) and ESE->SSE (H 0.6m; Wth 4m). Latter bank is truncated by railway line on N side. Causeway entrance at NE (Wth 2.8m). Interior surface uneven and shallow irregular depression at centre may be result of quarrying.
