What is recorded here

No one knows who built the Aghabeg East ringfort or when it stopped being a home. That uncertainty is not a gap, it is the shape of the place: a circular enclosure on the 1842 map, reduced to a western fragment by 1916, absent from the surface now. The land has not forgotten it; it has stopped showing it.

Marked on the 1842 OS map as a circular enclosure, only a tiny section of the W side appears on the 1916 map. No surface trace remains today. The above description is derived from C.
