Grave Yard in Commons, County Leitrim, has held the dead beside the Fenagh church since 1760, its walled rooms widening south-west when the first square filled. The plateau drops toward Lough Allen, where St Beo Aodh's older church still stands within a smaller graveyard reaching back to 1798. Two borders, one water, and centuries of buried people make the region remember itself without being asked.

Located in a low-lying position at the E shore of Lough Allen. The site of the church of St Beo Aodh or Beoaidh (LE018-044001-) of Ardcarn, Co Roscommon (RO006-103002-) is within a rectangular graveyard (dims. 38m N-S; 27m E-W) containing 19th- and 20th-century graves, the earliest being 1798, defined by masonry walls.
