What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Cork, Ireland. It is a roughly circular earthen ring about twenty-nine metres across on a north-northwest-facing slope. A one-metre bank and a taller western scarp enclose a central hut site, while the south-western bank has become part of a field fence. The shape remains clear in pasture despite age and changing use.

In pasture, on NNW-facing slope. Roughly circular area (29m N-S; c. 28m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank E->W (H c. 1m); scarp (H c. 1.6m) W->E. Bank incorporated into field fence system S->W. Scarp stone-faced in parts. Interior raised on NNW side to compensate for hillslope; circular hut site (7m N-S; 7m E-W) (CO142-068001-) at centre.
