What is recorded here

Indicated is a broken fairy fort in Kerry pasture, its shallow bank surrendering one finger of earth each storm to the Flesk River. Cattle still force the western gap, treating the ancient boundary as merely a suggestion rather than a wall. The land remembers shape long after human purpose fades, keeping its circle visible only through what it has lost.

In pasture, on a N-facing slope and c. 450m SW of a bend in the Flesk River. A raised circular area (diam. 32m) defined by a low discontinuous bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.4m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.5m) with intervening short stretches of scarp, especially along the S arc. The external face of the bank is being eroded at N. Intermittent faint traces of a depression externally may indicate a fosse. The interior, in pasture, slopes down gently to the N. There is a cattle break (Wth 1.2m) in the bank at W.
