What is recorded here

On the SW side of small hills overlooking a valley to the SW, in rolling reclaimed arable and cultivated pasture. There are good views in all directions. A circular enclosure (diam. c. 36m) indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and on the 1900 revision. It appears to have been levelled in the 1960s as part of Land Project Works (OPW Correspondence, January-June 1962) and is not visible at ground level. It appears as a cropmark on satellite imagery (DigitalGlobe, imagery date 28 June 2018). There are a number of enclosures (KK012-029----; KK012-030----; KK012-031----; KK012-032----) nearby c. 250m to the WNW, c. 170m to the NW, c. 100m and c. 250m to the NNW respectively, which are indicated on the 1st ed.
