Enclosure in Lerrig North

Though marked on the 1842 and 1897 OS maps as a circular enclosure, this site has been completely levelled and no surface trace remains. It can, however, be picked up as a crop mark on the Geological Survey of Ireland's aerial photographs (1977). The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’.
