In wet pasture 60m E of the townland boundary with Ballyshoneen. Ring-barrow (LI024-232----) 30m to NE. The ringfort (LI024-052----) known as ‘Rathaniska’ lies 60mto W. The enclosure is not depicted on historic OSi maps, nor is it visible on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 or on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 94; AP 4/3672) as a circular enclosure (ext. dims. c. 29m N-S; 32m E-W). The site is faintly visible on Google Earth orthoimages taken 25/03/2017, although it is not visible on the most recent image taken 18/11/2018.
