What is recorded here

Located towards the bottom of a gentle S-facing slope and c. 77m WNW of Cloghnagcorp (RO022-057043-) Two low lying rectangular enclosures are outlined by a series of stones. The E enclosure (dims c. 8m E-W; c. 7m N-S) has a small annex (dims c. 3m x c. 3m) to the N. Just to the W is an oblong enclosure (dims c. 11m N-S; c. 3m E-W) with an entrance (Wth 0.25m) in the W wall indicated by two stones set across the defining feature c 0.25m apart. They probably represent post-medieval house sites and yards, and were first identified and recorded by Gary Dempsey. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload; 23 May, 2016
