Enclosure in Dromaloughane

A subcircular enclosure is marked on the first edition of the OS map at this location, on the N bank of a stream in an area liable to flooding. The land was reclaimed in the 1970s and no surface trace survives of the site. Its antiquity remains uncertain. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
