What is recorded here
On a gentle SE-facing slope. Visible on an aerial photograph (DoD, 1999). A fairly well-preserved, slightly raised, rectangular area (dims. L 28.5m NW-SE; Wth 18.6m; H0.3m) is defined by a shallow, round-bottomed fosse (Wth 1-1.5m; D0.3m). The S corner is truncated by a railway embankment.
