What is recorded here

Cave holds a chamber large enough for a hundred people to stand inside, yet no one knows when it formed or whether it is a natural wonder or a abandoned mine. The chamber is dry, warm and quiet, with a smooth floor and a low ceiling that presses the mind downward. Its walls are marked with shallow grooves and dark stains, as if water or tools had passed through them more than once. The entrance is narrow and shadows the far wall, but the chamber itself is wide enough for a crowd to move without touching. No name, date or owner appears on the rock, and the silence makes the chamber feel both ancient and unfamiliar.
