Dundrudian Cliff-Edge Stone Ringfort is a collapsed oval cashel on a sheer Donegal cliff, its broken wall still marking a narrow ledge where human life balanced against the void. The rock platform drops suddenly on two sides, suggesting the builders accepted danger as the price of visibility. A person standing there would have felt the sea below and the sky above at once, perhaps wondering whether the cliff was a wall or a warning.

Diam. c. 39m N-S, c. 26m E-W. Most of the outline of an oval area enclosed by a collapsed stone wall is still visible with a few short stretches of wall foundation surviving on the SE. The interior is uneven due to rock outcrop. It stands on a natural rock platform and follows the edge of this except on the SW side. The platform drops sheer on the N and S but is more gentle to the E and W. It is located in a commanding position on the NW side of Dunrudian Hill in an area of outcrop and rough pasture.
