Rusko Castle is a private late fifteenth-century tower in Dumfries and Galloway, built or taken by the violent Gordons of Lochinvar and later used as a prison for kidnapped people. The Acarsane family may have occupied it before the Gordons, while the MacGuffocks held it late in the sixteenth century. A shepherd still lived there around 1900 until a storm stripped its roof and top floor, leaving the restored rectangular tower standing alone beside ordinary roads.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Rusko Castle as Burnt Mound (prehistoric). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
