What is recorded here
Drummee holds a Rath, an ancient enclosed place marked on the official map in County Fermanagh. The stones and earth may have served people long before written records reached that far north. What is certain is that the land still carries the shape of human choice, even when the names and events have faded from memory.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. Recorded protection: Scheduled. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
