RATH in Drumduff

Drumduff holds a rath, an ancient earthwork whose boundary still marks the landscape despite the absence of a visible ruin. The name preserves a place where people lived, defended or gathered before modern fields erased most of the evidence. What remains is a point on a map and a shape in memory, waiting for someone to walk the field and imagine the doors, fires and voices that once filled it.
