Fulacht fia in Drombohilly Lower

In rough boggy pasture, on a S-facing slope on the N bank of a stream. A crescent-shaped mound (7.5m E-W; 5.2m N-S; H 0.8m) of burnt material protrudes above the surface of the bog and has an opening facing S. Burnt material is exposed intermittently on the mound. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
