No map records the lost Dromavally fort, but local memory preserves a forty-foot earthen ring buried inside an ordinary farmyard. It lacked a defensive ditch, suggesting residence rather than siege, yet human activity erased the very boundary it once marked. The earth absorbed the structure, returning the village to seamless ground while forgetting the shape that once stood there.

This ringfort was not marked on the OS maps and has now been destroyed. It was a circular enclosure, about 40 feet (12m) in diameter, with an earthen bank but no fosse (local information).
