What is recorded here

Cave is a twin-chambered drystone passage within the southern half of a rath in County Galway. Its first chamber runs eight point eight metres north-south before a narrow creep bends into a second chamber five point seven five metres east-west. Both end in openings likely broken through later, leaving the ancient entrance hidden beneath the rath's earth.

Within S half of a rath (GA054-017----). Well-preserved, twin-chambered, drystone-built Man-made underground passage. A creep connects first chamber (L 8.8m), running N-S, to a second (L 5.75m) which runs E-W. There are openings at either end, one in the fosse of the rath at SE and the other close to E end of the second chamber: both are probably modern breaches.
