What is recorded here
A large oval enclosure is indicated at this location on the first edition of the OS map. A number of small irregularly shaped fields, as depicted on the second edition, now occupy the site but a short stretch of curving bank may indicate the remnants of the NE sector of the enclosure. This is 5.5m long, 1.4m wide and .45m high. It is densely overgrown, but appears to be of earthen composition.
