Remains of mound, c. 20m in diam., with central depression. Listed as passage-tomb (Herity 1974, 251). Decorated stone (ME019-041001-) found immediately S of fence which borders mound on that side (O'Kelly 1978, 58-9). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). Neolithic passage tomb, dating to the late 4th to early 3rd millennium BCE. It is part of the Brú na Bóinne complex, a significant UNESCO World Heritage Site associated with early megalithic funerary and ceremonial practices in Ireland.
