What is recorded here
Eighty-six metres beneath County Down, an unknown ship waits upright and intact. It measures fifty-eight metres long, eleven wide and five point three high, a ghost box in the dark water. The sea took it without naming it, but the shape remains sharp enough for instruments to read.
The official Northern Ireland wreck record identifies Recorded wreck SWR228 as Unknown wreck. It was lost in Unknown. Recorded depth: 86m. Recorded condition: Intact and upright. Anomaly = 58m X 11m X 5.3m.
A wreck point does not grant access or permission to dive, enter land, disturb the site or recover anything. Check current law and local conditions first.
