What is recorded here

E. Godfrey Brown lived at Fernbank on Downshire Road from 1874 until 1955, filling the house with music rather than silence. The blue plaque marks his doorway because his melodies crossed it to join the neighbourhood. Ulster History Circle recorded that fact, preserving a life measured in song instead of years.
