What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to myth. The soil may have held a village, a shrine or a child’s marble kingdom before forgetting its own name. What remains is a circle bright enough to mark itself on the landscape, waiting for someone foolish or faithful enough to return it to life.
