In pasture, located on a rise with a fall of ground to N–NW, and good views of the surrounding landscape.
Shown on the 1838 and 1922 OS 6-inch maps as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m). This enclosure has been levelled; a slight circular undulation (diam. 12m N–S; 14m E–W) can be discerned.
There is a rath (MA038-086----) 90m to N, and another rath (MA038-088----) c. 160m to SE.
