What is recorded here

In Derryvella bog, this possible structure (Wth 0.56m; D 0.04m; L 0.8m) was visible on the field surface. It was composed of brushwood elements (diam. 0.03-0.4m; L 0.05-0.17m), but no clear structure was discernible. The site appeared to be orientated N-S and was in a poor state of preservation. The underlying peat was composed of moderately humified sphagnum peat with frequent patches of eriophorum. A single piece of wood was identified as hazel.
