Clear the dead leaves, drop the rope, tie it to the ring bolt. The lever handles are stiff but the gear ring is clean. Pull down until the platform touches the deck, lock the lever, test the rail with both hands. The base plate has four bolts and the mounting holes are already marked. Tighten the bolts, check the alignment, then charge the case light before entering the dark bay.

A raised area in the S half of the rath's interior contains the remnants of a stone-built rectangular building (KE080-038001-). It measures 5.8m x 2.8m internally, and its walls survive .6m high.
