In rough hill pasture, on the E bank of a river, on a N-facing slope, overlooking Cloonee Lakes and Kenmare Bay. A kidney-shaped mound (9m N-S; 9m E-W; H 1.9m) of burnt material surrounded by a layer of blanket bog; the opening faces S. The mound is denuded at W.
