What is recorded here
An unknown Ww2 motor torpedo boat still sat stranded off County Derry when the story was first recorded. It may have run out of fuel, lost a crew man, or been abandoned in a hurry. By 2004 the hull had vanished, leaving only the memory of a small violent machine forgotten by the sea.
The official Northern Ireland wreck record identifies Recorded wreck SWR267 as Motor torpedo boat (WW2). It was lost in Unknown. Recorded depth: -1. Recorded condition: Stranded ex-WW2 motor torpedo boat. Found to no longer exist (2004).
A wreck point does not grant access or permission to dive, enter land, disturb the site or recover anything. Check current law and local conditions first.
