What is recorded here

No visible entrance, no straight path to the middle, and no human scale in the measurements. The circle must be complete because an incomplete circle would point somewhere. The missing part is not a gap, but a invitation to stop projecting a human story onto a shape that does not need one.

In pasture, on gentle NW-facing slope. Roughly circular area (22m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank, intervening fosse and outer earthen bank. Inner bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 0.95m) highest E->SSW; interior H very low NNE->E; gap to SSW (Wth 1.2m), W (Wth 2m) and WNW (Wth 4m). Intervening fosse continues all round; best preserved where outer bank survives. Outer bank (ext. H 0.3m) survives NW->NE, incorporated into field boundary system; SE->SSW as low earthen bank. Raised interior, banks and fosse overgrown with trees.
